Your firewall is only as good as the attention it gets. Most breaches walk right through one that was left on default config, running stale firmware, with a security subscription that quietly expired months ago.
We manage the firewall appliance end to end as a remote-managed service. You get a device that stays current and tuned, with someone actually responsible for keeping it that way.
What we actually manage
We own the firewall day to day — its config, its updates, its logs.
- Configuration and rule management. We set the policy to match how you actually work, then keep the rule set clean as people, sites, and applications change. The stale "temporary" rules nobody remembers opening get cleaned up.
- Firmware and security patching on a schedule. Updates land during planned windows, so the appliance always runs supported, patched software and never drifts years behind.
- Security-subscription management. Intrusion prevention, gateway anti-malware, and content filtering stay licensed, enabled, and renewed before they lapse. The protection you're paying for stays switched on.
Watched every day
A firewall nobody reads is a silent point of failure, so we read it.
- Log review and analysis. We look at what the firewall is seeing — blocked traffic, repeated probes, the patterns that signal something worth acting on — so the logs get reviewed by someone who knows what they mean.
- Troubleshooting when something breaks. When a site goes dark or an application stops passing traffic, you have one place to call. We diagnose at the firewall and tell you whether it's the network, the carrier, or the box.
We do this for businesses across the New York Metro and the Puget Sound Area, on appliances we manage as part of your environment.
A firewall is a system that needs upkeep — and that's the part we take off your plate.
