It has been a while since I pushed out an alert like this, but this one caught my attention. Read the CERT alert here: https://www.us-cert.gov/ncas/alerts/TA15-286A. In many ways, this is a typical command and control (C2) type of malware. It turns your computer into a zombie that is at the beck and call of a remote puppet master.
What caught my attention here is that three agencies thought it important enough to issue an alert. So in turn, I thought I should let you all know.
